Roosters Dark 5% alc

A dark amber coloured beer made with a blend of five malts. this beer has a creamy head and complex caramel, coffee and licorice flavours; lightly hopped to accentuate the malt flavours. In every competition it has been in it has always been voted New Zealand best Dark Beer.

Roosters Lager 5% alc

A pale yellow/green coloured lager, made in the German style, with a distinctive , floral aroma and flavour and a fresh clean, malt aftertaste. This beer shows off the New Zealand hops at their best.

Roosters Haymaker 7%alc

Paler than the Roosters Lager, this is a very deceptive beer with a soft sweet palate, it slips down very easily with only the drier than usual finish to warn of the dangers ahead.

Roosters Draught 4% alc

A golden coloured New Zealand style draught. Roosters Draught is lightly hopped with a soft clean caramel/malt flavour, resulting in a very smooth beer.

Roosters Weiss Bier 5% alc

An unfiltered cloudy wheat beer with flavours that are derived from the unique yeast strain. A lively beer with smooth delicate banana tartness and a clovey spiciness.

Roosters IPA 5.5% alc

This is a traditional English style IPA with very lively hop flavours. Chinook, Cascade and Nelson Sauvin hops were all added to give an IBU of 49.5. The late addition of Riwaka gives the dominate flavours. Its powerful grapefruit “citrus” characters are literally breath-taking. The malts combine to give sweet orange peel flavours on the palate.
